1. When is KiiTIS MUN being held?
KiiTIS MUN will take place from Friday, 10th August to 12th August 2018
2. Where will the conference be held?
The conference sessions will be hosted by KiiT International School, Bhubaneswar in their school campus in KIIT Campus-9, Bhubaneswar - 751024, Orissa, India.
3. How much is the registration fee? What does it include?
The registration fee for KiiTIS MUN is Rs. 1500/- without accommodation and Rs. 2200/- for students who will require accommodation during the event.
4. How can I pay the registration fee?
The mode of payment of the fee i online or delegates can also pay their respective schools brand ambassadors or come to Kiit International School before the MUN and make the payment.
5. Is KiiTIS MUN for university students or school students?
Depending on your skills and experience, KiiTIS MUN can be suitable for you. We typically receive applications from school students in grade 6 onwards and undergraduate college students.
6. I have never participated in a model UN conference before. Can I still apply?
KiiTIS MUN is suitable for all types of delegates, both beginners and veterans. You are welcome to participate in the conference even if you have never participated in Model UN conferences in the past. Some committees are provided specifically for delegates new to MUN. Staff in these committees will concentrate on developing the skills, knowledge and confidence of the new delegates.
Throughout the conference there will also be plenty of members from the Secretariat to answer any questions you might have.
7. Can I avail accommodation during the conference?
Accommodation for a limited number of participants is available on a first come first serve basis during the conference. Please note that only participants whose city of residence is situated at least two hours or more from Bhubaneswar can opt for accommodation during the application process.]

9. Why was I not allotted my desired country/council?
Our folks over at Delegate Affairs work hard to ensure that you get the country and council of your choice as soon as possible.
As for your preferences, we hope you will appreciate that positions are being allotted based on not only your country/council preferences, but also the availability of the same. Unfortunately, if your preferred countries for the concerned council have already been allotted, we allot the next best fit.
10. Is there a dress code for the conference?
Yes. All participants are expected to dress in Western Formals, Indian Formals or school uniform, but no dresses or skirts are allowed.
11. How do I begin research?
We will be providing a number of resources to help you prepare for the conference.

Your first step should be to research the country that you have been allocated, its foreign policy and its approach to the topics on the agenda of your committee. You should also read the Rules of Procedure. Although they may appear intimidating for delegates new to MUN, they are very easy to learn by observing how things work in the first committee session.]
12. Are laptops allowed?
You can choose to bring your laptop to the venue. The organizers shall not be held responsible in the event of loss of belongings.
13. Will internet access be provided during the conference?
Delegates cannot access the internet while the committee is in session and can be disqualified from the committee if found flouting the rule.
14. I'm an outstation applicant. Can my teacher accompany me?
We strongly suggest that a teacher from your school accompany you to KiiTIS MUN. There is no fee for faculty. During the committee hours, the teachers can unwind in the teachers lounge on campus.
15. Can I leave the premises during/after the conference?
School delegates cannot leave the premises during the conference except in case an outstation applicant needs to leave, he/she must be accompanied by their teacher, or in the event of an emergency which must be immediately reported to the Secretariat.
